UNI-APER: DE-RISKING AGRIVOLTAIC PROJECTS THROUGH A COMMON, HARMONIZED FRAMEWORK FOR AGRICULTURAL MONITORING

Format

Exhibitor conference

Description

Obtaining a building permit for an agrivoltaic plant transforms it from a project validated on paper into a site monitored based on actual results. Consequently, minimizing the risk of non-compliance becomes a critical priority throughout the project lifecycle—from securing financing and commissioning to ongoing operation. To provide an operational solution for energy companies, two organizations qualified to inspect agrivoltaic sites have joined forces to offer a monitoring service that ensures reliable inspections. This presentation introduces the "Uni-APER" initiative, detailing how it works and the benefits it offers—both in reassuring structured finance credit officers and in facilitating regulatory inspections. The session will cover the inspection process in the context of compliant monitoring, as well as key steps that must not be overlooked. Based on the principle of selecting parameters that are both necessary and sufficient, Uni-APER monitoring is results-oriented while ensuring rigorous data collection.
