Spotlight on the Occitanie Sustainable Building Plan

Signed in 2021, the Occitanie Sustainable Building Plan (PBDOc) is a partnership initiative between the DREAL, ADEME, the Occitanie Region and the National Sustainable Building Plan. This 10-year commitment aims to bring together all stakeholders in the construction, civil engineering and property sectors around a strategy to ensure the success of the energy and ecological transition.

The PBDOc is structured around five key areas of success: setting an example, expertise, funding, synergy, and support.
Launched in January 2009, the Sustainable Building Plan brings together a broad network of stakeholders from the building and real estate sectors around a shared mission: to promote the implementation of energy efficiency and environmental objectives.

For the 5th consecutive year, the EnerGaïa Forum, the 100% renewable energy forum, is presenting its Sustainable Building Pavilion.

The building sector accounts for 44% of the energy consumed in France.

To make buildings more energy-efficient, existing buildings must undergo large-scale renovation, and new buildings must be constructed sustainably.

More than 37% of EnerGaïa visitors come to meet stakeholders in eco-construction and energy renovation.

The aim of the EnerGaïa Sustainable Building Pavilion is to deliver key information, inform professional audiences about current and future challenges, and offer and showcase energy efficiency solutions for buildings to professional visitors.
