Our approach

Dedicated to renewable energy and the energy transition, the EnerGaïa Forum aims to lead by example in sustainable development. That is why the EnerGaïa Forum continues its efforts through a process of continuous improvement: Reduction of energy, water, and paper consumption. - Limiting and controlling the waste generated by the organization of the event (waste reduction, recovery, and recycling). - Promoting sustainable transport. - Implementing responsible catering. - Raising awareness among partners, exhibitors, and the public about the eco-responsible approach.

  • I choose low-impact transportation.

  • Help save energy by turning off the lights on my stand when leaving and closing the doors after passing through. 
  • Help reduce waste by avoiding promotional giveaways and limiting the distribution of printed materials. 
  • Sort waste using the collection points set up by the Forum.
  • Take care of rented equipment to extend its lifespan.
  • Offer a vegetarian option at my stand cocktails.

Stronger mobilization against energy poverty.

Stronger mobilization against energy poverty.

For the third consecutive year, the EnerGaïa Forum is hosting the Grand Challenge Solidaire, organized with Énergie Solidaire Occitanie and supported by the Occitanie Region. This fundraising campaign, designed to finance nonprofit energy renovation projects, set a new record in 2025: more than €100,000 in donation pledges, surpassing the €82,300 raised in 2024. 

Since its launch in 2023, the Énergie Solidaire Occitanie program has already helped mobilize €400,000, support 11 nonprofit organizations, and assist more than 400 households facing energy poverty. This is essential action at a time when one in five people in France is affected and more than 15% of households in Occitanie are impacted.

♻️ Reducing and recycling waste

 Waste sorting and collection 
• Sorting waste with 4-stream bins for exhibitors and caterers, and 2-steam bins for visitors. 
• Collecting food waste in food service areas for composting. 

Reduction 
• Water fountains to reduce plastic bottle use. 
• Phasing out plastic bottles in restaurants. 
• Eliminating carpeting in aisles (saving 5,000 m² of waste). 

Reuse 
• Collecting badge holders and lanyards. 
• Reusable materials for fitted stands. 
• Decorative elements from previous editions. 

Recycling 
• Recovery of plastic screw caps (by Bouchons d’Amour) and corks (by Verreo). 
• Cigarette butts collected by ÉcoMégots.
