Biography
Sarah Jilibert-Schabram has been Deputy Executive Director of the Franco-German Office for the Energy Transition in Paris since 2022.
There, she is primarily responsible for the office’s publications. These compare the legal frameworks, business models, innovations, funding mechanisms, projects, and strategies of Germany and France in the various areas of the energy transition.
She has 15 years of experience in the energy sector in Germany and France.
In Germany, she worked for the consulting firm BET in Aachen, where her responsibilities included assisting various major German cities in planning their future heating supply in light of the planned phase-out of coal. Political consulting and due diligence was also part of her responsibilities.
In France, prior to joining the DFBEW, she worked for one of the major French energy utilities, where she focused particularly on international projects.
