This roundtable will explore how locally generated renewable energy can power both buildings and transportation, two sectors that have long been viewed separately.
This convergence, driven by renewable energy, opens up new opportunities for logistics and transportation companies, which face the challenges of decarbonizing their fleets and controlling their energy costs.
The rise of electric vehicles, the development of charging infrastructure, self-consumption, energy storage, and the utilization of available rooftops and land are gradually transforming buildings into true energy hubs serving their local communities. But this evolution also raises many questions: How can local governments, developers, energy providers, transportation companies, logistics firms, and businesses cooperate to build these new energy ecosystems?
