Description

Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole gathers 31 cities, representing a total population of more than 500,000 people. The metropolitan authority is responsible for organizational issues concerning the territory, development of urban environments, and projects of inter-city interest. Developing renewable energy sources is one of the key climate-air-energy policy directions for the Montpellier metropolis. To accompany the energy transition, the Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole Business and Innovation Centre (BIC) supports and assists territorial entrepreneurs leading structural and innovative projects involving alternative energies.
