RENEWABLE ENERGY: BUILDING THE NEW ENERGY SYSTEM TOGETHER, WHAT ARE THE CHALLENGES?
Nicolas GARNIERAnne-Catherine DE TOURTIERJules NYSSENGUILLAUME PascalOlivier ZANETTA
Description
The energy transition has entered a new phase. It is no longer just a matter of accelerating the deployment of renewable energy, but of building a new energy system in which renewables serve as a cornerstone. This system will be more decentralized, combining energy, with an expanded role for local communities, industry, and citizens, and a central focus on flexibility, storage, and smart grids.
With four months to go before the first round of the presidential election, this roundtable brings together the presidents of the leading federations in the renewable energy sector. They will compare their visions, identify priorities, and outline the conditions necessary for a decarbonized, sovereign, competitive, and resilient energy system.
It will kick off the 20th edition of EnerGaïa, whose overarching theme is “Building the New Energy System Together.”
A roundtable discussion moderated by Olivier Zanetta, journalist and programming director at EnerGaïa
