EnerGaïa, an eco-friendly event
SPL Occitanie Events, organizer of the EnerGaïa Forum, is committed to an eco-responsible approach. It has been ISO 20121 certified by AFNOR since January 2021 for all its activities.
Our approach
Dedicated to renewable energies and the energy transition, the EnerGaïa Forum sets an example for sustainable development. This is why the EnerGaïa Forum is pursuing its actions with a view to continuous improvement:
- Reducing energy, water and paper consumption.
- Limitation and control of waste generated by the organization of the event (reduction, recovery, recycling of waste).
- Promoting soft transport.
- Responsible catering.
- Raising awareness of eco-responsibility among partners, exhibitors and the general public.
Together, let's adopt the right gestures!
- I prefer soft transport.
- I bring my container to fill it in the water fountains provided on the event complex.
- I dispose of my garbage at selective sorting points.
- I dispose of my cigarette butts in the Eco-Mégot ashtrays.
- When I leave, I leave my necklace and badge in the ballot boxes at reception.
As an exhibitor, I can get more involved
- Help save energy: turn off the lights on my stand when I leave, and close the doors when I leave.
- Contribute to waste reduction by avoiding advertising goodies and limiting paper distribution.
- Sort waste using the collection points set up by the Forum.
- Take care of your leased equipment to extend its lifespan.
- Offer a vegetarian alternative in my stand cocktails.
SPL Occitanie Events joins forces with Mas Réemploi (Building materials re-use centre) to test at the EnerGaïa Forum the collection of materials destined for landfill for re-use. The aim of this collection from our exhibitors is to reduce waste at the show while giving it a second life.
For the 2nd year running, the EnerGaïa Forum is hosting the Grand Challenge Solidaire: a fundraising operation to benefit Énergie Solidaire from September 11 to December 11, 2025. With this partnership, the EnerGaïa Forum reinforces its commitment to a fairer, more inclusive transition.
Énergie Solidaire finances and supports projects to combat fuel poverty: access to affordable energy, renovation of substandard housing, replacement of energy-guzzling equipment…
Énergie Solidaire mobilizes resources from individuals, companies and public authorities to support local projects that benefit low-income households.
